This page lists the competitions we went to in 2017, and the community events we participated in.

Cardboard Sled Race- February 6:

The team participated in a cardboard sled race as a part of the Icebreaker Festival in South Haven, where we had to build a sled completely out of cardboard and duct tape! We also won the Team Spirit award while participating!

"End of Build Event"- February 18:

To finish off the main build season, Ramageddon participated in an End of Build event at Coloma Middle School. The team practiced and prepared for real competition by trying out their robot on a full game field against other schools.

Open House- March 2:

A public presentation of the team and their robot held at the high school.

St. Joesph Competition- March 9-11:

At the St. Joseph competition, Ramageddon faced a tough field of robots, and we barely missed going to the playoffs. However, we proved ourselves by being the number 1 autonomous scorer here!

Business Expo- March 18:

Ramageddon gave demonstrations at the South Haven Business Expo/Job Fair at the high school!

East Kentwood Competition- March 30-April 1:

Ramageddon showed off its strength at this competition, winning an award for having the best climbing robot, making it to the semifinals, and being chosen for the 3rd seeded alliance - the highest we've ever been!

Fourth of July Parade- July 3:

The team built a float and drove their robot at the 4th of July Parade in South Haven! Our float also won an award for Most Original Entry.

Girls Competition- October 7:

The girls on the team travelled to Wyoming High School to compete in a girls-only competition! Our team finished 5th place after the qualifying rounds, and we were chosen to be an alliance captain for the first time!


Gull Lake Competition- March 16-17

The team will compete at Gull Lake for the first time.

East Kentwood Competition- March 30-31

The team will compete at East Kentwood.
